Let 'Em Have It

On the morning of June 17, 1933, the American public was shocked into a new consciousness as gunmen killed four lawmen while attempting to free one of their own. The gun battle took place in front of the Union Railway Station, Kansas City, Missouri. The Kansas City Massacre, as the action is now known, launched the FBI.
This scenario recreates this event, but from three different points of view. The first was written from the FBI view of events, the second replays it but with additional eyewitness accounts, and the third runs a pure Hollywood invention. Character sheets are provided for the first version and it can be played using just the demo version of the .45 Adventure rules.

Zombie Pygmies!
Stats for Zombie Pygmies are now available. Scroll down the list at the right to Characters. The stats for these were inspired by the range of Zombie Pygmies put out by Conquest Miniatures. I first got these little fellas back in March, so I was excited to work out stats for them. I added two unique abilities for them.

Projekt X Axis Dossier!
The stats for the Axis forces of Projekt X© are now available for download! This free download is made possible by North Star Military Figures. Even if you are not a fan of the Weird War II type games, you should take a look at the download for ideas for other possible games since it's FREE. Death Stalks the Idol of Sobek!
A new scenario! It's been a while since I have put a new scenario up for people to download so here is the newest FREE scenario. I ran this as an in-store demo for people. It involves teams of archaeologists attempting to locate a lost idol. The PDF is just 7 pages and can be played with anywhere from 2 to 6 players (more if you're willing to make some adjustments yourself). Hordes of Mooks!
One of the requests I have gotten quite a bit is a way for players to put a horde of low-level bad guys on the board without all the bookkeeping. .45 Adventure was not designed to be a squad based game where two large forces went at it, but I did add Grade 1/2 archetypes to provide some fodder for the heroes (or villains). But there was still the problem of bookkeeping. Who wanted to keep track of which Grade 1/2 was wounded when you had 8-10 of them on the board? Well, I think I have come up with a simple way to eliminate all the bookkeeping so that players just need one character sheet for their Grade 1/2s. Check out Hordes of Mooks for how to do it.

Terror Beneath Their Feet
This new Solo or two player scenario is available for FREE download. This min-scenario was designed as an introduction to Amazing War Stories. Players can get a chance to see some of the Weird War Nazi Zombies and some regular GIs in action. This is download can be played with the demo version of the rules. So take a chance at stopping the Zombie Horde of the Third Reich and watch out for the Terror Benneath Their Feet!

Guardian of the Golden Idol
This new Solo scenario is available for FREE download. This min-scenario was designed as a short diversion for solo play or a possible add-on to a longer campaign that players might be trying. It could even be just one room in a larger board set-up. Though you only need the demo rules to play, no character is provided so you will have to use one of the existing pre-generated characters from the other scenarios. So prepare to face the cunning traps in Guardian of the Golden Idol.

Dragon Bones: Into the Fire
This new 2-player or Solo scenario is available for FREE download. Please note, that it does require that players have the Dragon Bones: Adventures in the Gobi Desert supplement. As well as continuing the adventure and excitment from the four scenarios in Adventures in the Gobi Desert, Into the Fire adds a new archetype, the Kommisar and a new piece of equipment, the Light Machine Gun!

New Solo Scenario FREE download. Here's a quick scenario designed to be played by just one player. It's a fast and easy way to test out the rules before springing them on friends and family.
The Scenario is called .45 Adventure: Rescue at the Tar Pits. It puts two heroes (Bart and Mick) up against 5 kidnappers, holding their hostage in an abandoned park. The best part, though... is you can play it using just the demo rules.

.45 Adventure: Quest for La Calavera Negra de la Luna is a free downloadable scenario for the .45 Adventure: Crimefighting Action in the Pulp Era ruleset. In this scenario, two or more teams race to retrieve the Black Skull from a temple deep in the jungle. But there are deadly traps at every turn! And the other teams have no desire to see you reach it first!
This scenario contains two sample teams, so players still using the demo rules can take part in the action.
