Quest for La Calavera Negra de la Luna

This is the first FREE download scenario for .45 Adventure: Crimefighting Action in the Pulp Era, which is still on the design phase. As soon as it is finished and ready for download, I'll include a link here and on the download page. For now, check out the pictures from one of the playtest games. This is the jungle board set-up. Nearly all the terrain was scratch-built by me. Some pieces are still being worked on, but this board will be at Cold Wars.

The German Fallschirmjagers before the battle begins. This force was maxed on low level Gat Men with SMGs. They hung back for most of the game, and snuck in at the end to contest the Black Skull!

The Spider (proxied by The Haunt) and Ram Singh move toward the center of the board. A good ranged combat specialist and close combat specialist paired together can prove very deadly. This duo along with Nita and Jackson challenged the Germans for control at the end.

Three "brothers" from the Cult forces. They stand around the second marker which will help them locate the Black Skull (and a shameless plug for some of the resin terrain we put out---the log and stump are from our set of Fallen Logs and Tree Stumps.)

The cultist here used the Disguise special ability to switch places with an unactivated Grade 1 model. The Tong Gangsters were quite surprised to suddenly find themselves face to face with this rifle toting cultist.

Here I spiced up one of the traps with a small scenic piece. Touches like this help to make the game a little more interesting. I hope to eventually post some on-line tutorials for pieces like this. This one happens to be the deadfall.

Another trap scenic piece. When the model uncovered the marker it turned out to be a dart trap. Lucky for the Tong Bruno he dodged the dart this time.

The Prize! This is La Calavera Negra de la Luna, or The Black Skull! Many models died trying to get off the board with it.
